Week 1, Thing #1
I am so glad to have the opportunity to continue my education about Web 2.0. I feel that we educators need to know what our students use regularly. I want to shorten the gap between the technological knowledge of our computer savvy students and the people who teach them on a daily basis, so I am starting by educating myself. My husband thinks I just never want to quit being a student. He's right!

Me either Sandy! I don't want to quit being a student either--my husband thinks it's odd, but is used to me by now! :) I think it's bigger than that though--maybe if we keep trying to learn, we'll stay young enough to make a meaningful difference in kids'lives.
Wecome to Web 2.0. I hope you enjoy the journey. I'm so glad that we can all continue to learn and maybe we can at least keep up with our computer savvy students. I don't want to every stop being a student.
